Getting Kids Back to Nature

The impact of nature on human health, is getting more and more attention these days. So much so, that the world's first international congress on the topic was held in Melbourne in 2010. Around 1200 people from all kinds of fields - scientists, town planners, academics and health professionals - gathered at the Healthy Parks, Healthy People" congress, to talk about how important parks and green spaces are for a healthy society...and how we need to get back to nature. Dr Kathleen Bagot was at the congress, she's an environmental psychologist who's an expert on how nature affects human wellbeing. Hear Kathleen's interview here.
