Join me this Sunday as we find out about the new spiritual movement that is sweeping the globe. It started in the UK, but now the 24-7 Prayer movement is seeing thousands join together to pray all night, for days and sometimes weeks on end, across the world. I’m sure you’ll find it inspiring.
Plus, we’ll review the latest in fiction, find out how Christianity changed the world, and review the state of Rwanda eleven years after its genocide.

Hi guys,
Two things really quickly.
Housing prices in WA, in the mining industry are much higher than the major cities. Like to extremes, as there are no houses available up there. It was on 60 Minutes recently. Apparently up to $800 rent a week or something crazy. Just for a small townhouse! The mines were ready, but the towns weren't. Apparently, companies like BHP and similar are building their own 'housing communities' where they have their miners living in a 'camp' environment.
The other thing re gossip... As a youth leader, It's what kids want to know about, and what they talk about. It's also something that interests them. My argument for saying yes to hearing and reading about our celebrities is that you've got to know what the kids are reading and talking about, just to simply be relevant to them. As a youth leader, I know that this is what they talk about. You can't be a 'cool' leader if don't know about popular culture.
When Paul from the Bible was traveling round Rome, he was up with the current talk and culture. Why shouldn't we be?
My two cents.
Steve.
